Land and Sea Route in Cambados
We want you to go deep into the most authentic Galicia, in the seafaring Galicia, but we also want you to enjoy its land and wines. To do so, we’ll bring you into contact with its people on this land and sea route in a place where all this merges: Cambados.
The route consists of:
– Shellfish gathering workshop: On the shore you’ll learn all about the hard work of the women shellfish gatherers. They’ll be your guides, teaching you about the different bivalves in the area. Cockles, clams and razor clams are some of the local species.
– Visit the Pazo Fefiñáns winery: declared a Heritage Site in 2012, its vineyards have some of the oldest Albariño grape vines in the Salnés area. The current heirs will accompany you during the tour. You can try their fabulous wines in a guided tasting experience. Depending on availability and timetables, the vineyard visit will take place in the Gran Bazán winery where you’ll be able to taste their delicious wines. *May be substituted by a different winery.
– Inside a canning factory: if you’re an inquisitive person, you’ll love discovering the canning process of the sea products you’ll already have seen. We’ll take you to a traditional cannery to see first-hand how seafood is processed. To round off, you can sample some of the canned products. A delicious experience.
The route isn’t chronological as we’re at the mercy of the tides. Contact us with no obligation to check availability and timetables.
