DAY 1. PONTE NAFONSO. PENDULUM BUNGEE JUMPING

Bungee jumping in Noia takes place on the Tambre river at the Ponte Ceilán bridge, also called Ponte Nafonso.

The jump itself consists of a large swing, attached to the bridge by harnesses and two dynamic ropes.

The movement is pendulum-like, as you jump from one side of the bridge and the ropes are secured on the other.

The sensation, although fleeting, is very intense, lasting approximately five minutes, but it is undoubtedly the activity that releases the most adrenaline.

First you feel all the tension of deciding to step into the void and then you release all that energy as you jump and feel the rope holding you by the waist harness – a total sense of freedom!
You mustn’t confuse pendulum bungee jumping with vertical bungee jumping, as the former is a pendulum movement and dynamic ropes are used, while vertical bungee jumping is a vertical movement using elastic ropes.

DETAILS OF JUMP

The height of the bridge is 35 metres and the jump will be approximately 20 metres.

DURATION

Approximately five minutes per jump (between jumping, swinging and returning to the position).

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age is 16 years (minors must be accompanied by a guardian and prove parental consent).
Bungee jumping is not recommended for people with back problems or diabetes, or anyone at risk of retinal detachment or heart conditions.

Weight limit of the participant 100 kg.

DAY 2. RIBEIRIÑO RIVER. CANYONING

Canyoning in the Ribeiriño river takes place very near the Serra de Outes, in the province of A Coruña.
Nearby, you will find Noia, Ponte Nafonso, the mouth of the Tambre river and the Ria de Muros e Noia.

It’s a medium level canyon, suitable for people who already have experience in abseiling.
There are no jumps or slides, only rappels (the highest up to 30 m).

It runs through a very lush forest with exuberant vegetation, and to move forward, you have to abseil over waterfalls, making this descent a very technical and powerful activity.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age is 14 (children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult).
