Hotel Mogay provides you with all the services needed to ensure you have an unforgettable visit or stay in the Ribeira Sacra. Hotel Mogay is located in the centre of Chantada.

DAY 1.
On the first day we are going to enjoy a catamaran trip through the Riberia Sacra. Do you want to sail through the meander known as ‘O cabo do mundo’ (the end of the world), contemplate Maiorga island, and approach, via the river, the vineyards of Finca Míllara, the town of Pincelo, and the submerged village of Portotide? All this becomes possible from the cosy and secure confines of our catamaran. We will visit secluded places, view the churches of Nogueira in Chantada, San Martiño da Cova in O Saviñao, and Chouzán in Carballedo, as well as perpendicular vineyards, and the splendid nature in this part of the Ribeira Sacra. Perhaps we will also be joined by a grey heron or encounter a roe deer or wild boar crossing the river along our route. Ribeira Sacra is synonymous with landscapes and the best vantage point is from the middle of the river, where navigating through it becomes the most entertaining part of the journey.

DAY 2.
This is the day we will have a guided tour of the winery – wine tasting included – to discover the essence of Heroic Viticulture alongside our magnificent guides. The winery is a 40-minute drive away from Hotel Mogay. They will explain the techniques and secrets behind the production of Ribeira Sacra wines. Head into our screening room and discover the Sil canyons from an unparalleled perspective through a visual experience that is unique in the area. Awaken your senses in our tasting room with a guided tasting and learn to identify the most characteristic nuances of each of our wines. Finish your experience by enjoying a glass of wine on our terrace surrounded by a spectacular panoramic view.
