We organise interpretive tours in and around Cortegada Island to showcase the natural and heritage wealth of the Ría de Arousa. Accompanied by our guides, you’ll discover the interior of the island and its archipelago, part of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park. On this tour, we’ll discover the rich history of the island and its legends, in addition to its varied flora and fauna. On our stops you can enjoy the magnificent views the Ría de Arousa offers, also exploring the area’s many clam and cockle cultivation parks. Another option is to go on a night-time excursion accompanied by the stars and the milky sea phenomenon. We also offer other activities such as renting kayaks and bikes to explore the most interesting places in the town of Vilagarcía de Arousa, as well as the possibility of following the maritime route of the Apostle to the town of Padrón or the excursion to Sálvora Island. You can also combine a visit to Cortegada and a local pazo or bodega, and to the O Grove aquarium.
