Trevinca Skies SL is a company linked to the world of astronomy, from a tourism as well as a more technical or professional point of view. In its tourism facet, it engages in astronomical observation activities, advises town councils, organisations, entities, companies, etc., on astronomical tourism or similar activities, and also holds the concession of the Centro Astronómico de Trevinca, where astronomical observation and dissemination activities are carried out throughout the year. Since its opening in 2021, it has become a reference point for astronomical tourism in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula. The Centre has a large exhibition area, two domes with telescopes, observation equipment for outdoor use, a 4K digital planetarium with a diameter of 8 metres and 40 seats … and above all, a mountain setting, close to Valdín (A Veiga), where the conditions for astronomical observation are very good due to the low light pollution in the area.
