Adega Eidos is a family-run winery that started up business in 2000, making Albariño wine under the Designation of Origin Rías Baixas with a trajectory since 1993, and opening up new facilities in Sanxenxo in 2003. This new winery is located at the southern end of the sub-zone ‘Val do Salnés’, and sheltered by a hillside called ‘Padriñán’, dotted with an infinite number of small, immemorial plantations that feed it.
This area, with privileged views of the village of Sanxenxo and the mouth of the Ria de Pontevedra, has its own microclimate, ideal for growing vines, which together with the geographical peculiarities of the soil, results in a grape with an unbeatable balance of acids and sugars and an optimum degree of ripeness.
This combination, undeniably famous in the area, has given rise to an Albariño wine with its own identity, which has increased over the years.
