The Camino is also by sea!!! On the Traslatio Route we’ll follow the sea journey taken by the remains of Saint James the Apostle as part of his pilgrimage from Jerusalem to Santiago de Compostela.
It’s a route full of natural, cultural, historical and spiritual beauty that takes us back in time.
It provides us with the opportunity to sail the sea of Arousa with its bateas for cultivating mussels and clam cultivation parks. Witness the only river maritime via crucis with its 17 stone crosses that mark the course to follow, or the Torres de Catoira with their Viking ships, an example of our ancestors and their battles.
