**Night of Stars** Astronomical Observations in Panoramic Bubble
Experience in ASTRONOMICAL BUBBLE in A Coruña or Sanxenxo (1-night observation stays for two adults)
Activity available throughout the year (except for specific dates due to staff breaks, check calendar on the website).
The experience consists of a stay for two people in one of our panoramic bubbles specially designed for skygazing. We share our passion for astronomy and introduce you to the secrets hidden in our skies thanks to the observation equipment provided in our bubbles. You’ll learn to handle our semi-professional telescopes, to interpret the skies thanks to our celestial planispheres, to identify the most characteristic constellations of the Northern Hemisphere. We invite you to an evening of exploration, where from the comfort of your bubble you can try to capture one of the planets that will accompany us during the evening. Have you ever seen Saturn’s rings live?
How many moons can you see around Jupiter? Have you noticed the shadows made by lunar craters? At Albarari you can find the answers to these and many other questions we ask ourselves about the sky. And if by any chance there are clouds on the horizon, we always have our online streaming channel connected to our remote telescopes or astronomical observation simulators that can also give us a view of the sky.
The Albarari experience at is a clear, decisive commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism, in structures that are ephemeral and minimally invasive in the landscape, committed to a strategy of reducing and mitigating the impact of the carbon footprint. For this reason, we are located in natural, leafy surroundings, full of flora and nature in its purest state. We carefully measure and use natural resources to avoid any inefficiency or misuse, in terms of both water and energy resources, seeking sustainable lighting sources and always trying to reduce the effects of light pollution, which is so important for the observations of the sky to be as striking as possible. Thanks to this we have obtained the distinguished Starlight Camp seal of approval from the Starlight Foundation for both observatories in A Coruña and Sanxenxo.
The astronomical bubbles are fully equipped for overnight stays, with air-conditioning, full bathroom with free-standing bathtub, hot water, electricity, furniture for rest and relaxation, astronomical observation equipment, private garden and gazebo.
We also have private parking, breakfast and dinner services with local suppliers, Wi-Fi, common areas, and all kinds of amenities. The robotic telescope is located at the resort in A Coruña in a covered observation dome, but thanks to its remote connection, it allows us to stream the observations to our visitors at either resort.
The timetables are always adapted to the darkest hours, so we have two different timetables throughout the year:
From 1 May to 30 September, check-in after 19:00, check-out before 14:00.
From 1 October to 30 April, check-in after 16:00, check-out before 12:00.
The offer consists of a one-night stay in a deluxe astronomical bubbles in Albarari Oleiros in the low season.
