Before we start, we’ll brief you on handling the boats and safety and inform you about the planned route.
The boats you’ll use are of the best brands on the market, guaranteeing safety and stability. The complementary equipment is approved and suitable for this event. And we work with small groups to ensure a quality experience in line with environmental sustainability.
You must be able to swim to take part in this activity, and also be a nature lover with positive energy.
We’ll set off from the O Barco river beach at O Pindo Carnota, which is where the activity starts and finishes. Here we recommend you park your vehicles.
We’ll start kayaking at the foot of the majestic Celtic Olympus; you’ll discover the genuine legends and myths this spectacular mountain holds and its flora and fauna. While the tide comes in, we’ll go into the pretty Ézaro waterfall formed by the drop of the Xallas river in the form of a cascade into the Atlantic Ocean. According to experts, it’s the only river that meets the sea in this way in Europe. Spectacular, isn’t it!
At the Ézaro waterfall we’ll take a short break, mooring the kayak so you can visit inland. At times in summer we may even take a dip, a truly natural and exclusive privilege. Once we’ve taken in the surroundings we embark once again and continue exploring by kayak. Before booking, bear in mind it lasts a couple of hours, hence plan accordingly.
It’s a combined experience of culture, fun and adrenaline that you will remember later thanks to the photos the instructors will take during the trip.
