On this trip we propose a route through the most authentic Galicia, soaking up its unique wine and gastronomy, cultural heritage, ethnography and tradition. We’ll travel inland and along the Galician coast by campervan and boat and taste wines from three different Designation of Origins. A trip packed with very different flavours and landscapes.

You’ll begin to discover one of the best-kept secrets of inland Galicia: the Ribeira Sacra, a privileged spot where you can walk along the spectacular balconies overlooking the river Sil.

The first stop on our journey will be a boat trip organised by Sacra Activa, where using the river Sil as a starting point you can discover the history and landscapes of the Ribeira Sacra, admiring the uniqueness of its so-called heroic viticulture and learning about the history of its rich cultural heritage, home to the largest concentration of rural Romanesque architecture in Europe. Your boat trip will end with a visit to the traditional winery of Ecosacra de Sacra Activa, situated on the banks of the river Miño, with a chance to taste the local wine.

You’ll continue towards Ribeiro, your next stop, where you’ll visit a Designation of Origin O Ribeiro winery and be able to taste their wines.

You’ll leave the inland area behind, to continue the route to the south of Galicia. In O Rosal, Designation of Origin Rías Baixas, you’ll be able to visit a winery and see first-hand how Albariño grape vines are grown, learn about the wine-making process and, of course, taste this precious wine.

Your trip will end sailing the Ria de Vigo accompanied by Bluscus Turismo Marinero, where you can admire the immensity of the ria, the traditional fishing gear, the cultivation of mussels on platforms and taste these molluscs with a glass of Albariño wine.
