This tour is for astronomy lovers. Galicia forms part of the Starlight Tourist Destinations for its excellence and ideal characteristics for stargazing thanks to the low light pollution. We propose a campervan trip packed with star gazing and gastronomy.

Your first stop will be Muras, a Starlight Destination in the north of the Lugo province. There you’ll spend your first night in the campervan area near the Serra do Xistral where you can admire a sky of endless stars.

You’ll continue your journey to the city of A Coruña to visit one of the city’s science museums: Casa das Ciencias. In its planetarium you can discover the mysteries hidden in the sky.

Your journey will continue in A Coruña and it will take you to MEGA, the Estrella Galicia beer museum. We could not miss an interactive visit to the museum, including beer tasting, to learn about the history of Galicia’s most famous ‘Estrellas’.

If you’re travelling in summer, this trip could include a unique optional experience: a nocturnal voyage in kayak to the waterfall of the river Xallas in Ézaro, accompanied by Atlantis Aventura. An exciting experience on the edge of the waterfall aboard a kayak under the stars, immersed in a spectacle of light and colour with the illuminated waterfall.

The next stop will be at Serra de Outes, in the Restaurante Fera. There you’ll be able to delight your palate with a top-quality set menu based on the local gastronomy of the Galician rias and lands – a ‘genuine tribute to the senses’ says the Chef at Fera.

The finishing touch to your journey under the stars could be no other than the Cíes Islands, another Starlight Destination in Galicia. You’ll enjoy a boat trip with Sailway: Moonlight in the Cíes Islands. You’ll sail to these islands across the Ria de Vigo, observing the incredible sunset over the Atlantic until disembarking on the beach at San Martiño or the famous Rodas beach, where the guide will explain in detail the breathtaking starry sky of Galician Atlantic Islands Maritime-Terrestrial National Park.
